You can make one yourself from an easy Lavendilly Doll Kit, or you can commission me to make one for you. Either way your special little one can have a lovingly handmade special friend just for them.
Lavendilly Doll Kits
Lavendilly Doll Kits come with pre-sewn parts and all the stuffing and threads required to put the doll together and add the facial features. To make your doll all you need is a kit, a doll needle (found in any haberdashery store) and your choice of yarn for hair. Then you follow the detailed instructions from here on this blog (listed below). That’s it! No previous sewing experience required, no perceived levels of craftiness or artistic integrity … ALL dolls made with a Lavendilly Doll Kit are beautiful and loved by those who receive them.
Doll kits come in a range of skin tones (depending on availability) and styles include Newborn Baby (with cute round tummy and arms and legs that move), and Child Style (more of a toddlerish style to them, with attached legs and arms that can move for easy dressing).
